Personal Interests

My career of 30+ years has spanned product design, sales and marketing, working for both large enterprises and start-ups. My passion is based on enabling knowledge-intensive services firms to become next generation cloud ventures by Going Non-Linear.

Career History

After initially training as a 3D product designer, I began my sales career selling robots and manufacturing automation solutions to the plastics industry, before working for an IBM dealership and thereafter, joining Honeywell Information Systems to sell high-value Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions.

In 1993, I moved to San Francisco, becoming General Business Manager for Meiko, a pioneer of large scale computing platforms for Oracle solutions. After returning to UK in early-1995, I held founding sales leadership roles in Europe with middleware pioneers BEA (now Oracle) and thereafter, Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) innovators Mercator (now IBM), before setting out as an independent consultant in 2001.

Current Focus

I am now engaged in hands-on new business development for next generation nearshore tech sourcing, based on an unique Own Software Development Team model for the fast-growing Ukraine-based player Ciklum. My everyday work is a constant source of ideas and sales-oriented activities focused on Going Non-Linear in the cloud.
